COLLEGE OF FOREST RESOURCES CENTENNIAL

Welcome to the College of Forest Resources Centennial Celebration web page!
In September 1907, the School of Forestry at the University of Washington, with Francis Garner Miller
as Dean, opened with an enrollment of ten students. To honor 2007 as our Centennial Year, the
College's Centennial Planning Committee is working hard to ensure that this milestone occasion is
an opportunity for engagement and celebration. Special events are planned throughout the year; we
hope that you will be inspired to participate in the life of the College community throughout 2007 and beyond.
