computing and IT Committee
Mission:
The Computing and IT Committee discusses and resolves computing and IT issues across SEFS, augments information flow among faculty, staff, and students and SEFS IT personnel, and develops and communicates SEFS computing and IT policy.
Specific charges for the academic year include:
- Discuss and resolve computing and IT equipment and IT space issues and requests, soliciting input from relevant SEFS individuals and committees.
- Work with students and faculty to identify needs, develop proposals, and document support for Student Technology Fee applications.
- Establish a policy to address when a programmatic or instructional focus ends. The policy should focus on the following issues:
- How should the former web page be featured on the School's web site?
- What elements of the former website have value and how should these be judged or determined?
- What material truly belongs in University archives?
- How does one determine expiration dates for the material?
