Director's Council
Mission:
The Director’s Council is composed of key faculty and staff administrators and the chair of the Elected Faculty Advisory Council. As topics warrant, additional School members are invited to meetings. The Council meets weekly and has the following regular responsibilities:
- Discuss major issues (challenges, opportunities) impacting the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences (SEFS) as they arise.
- Discuss SEFS administrative, operational, and funding issues.
- Review minutes and decisions of SEFS faculty meetings and College of the Environment Executive Committee meetings.
Specific charges for the cademic year include:
- Review SEFS committee membership and progress, especially in light of goals and objectives of School’s 3-year strategic plan.
