Dear All:

I am delighted to announce that Professor Gordon Bradley has been awarded
the B. Bruce Bare Endowed Professorship in Forest Resources effective April
1, 2010.

As indicated in my October 7, 2009 email,

to the faculty soliciting nominations for this award, the Bare
Professorship in Forest Resources was established to enhance the
University's ability to attract and retain distinguished faculty in The
School of Forest Resources. Candidates shall have demonstrated, through
professional activities, expertise in forestry, resource management,
environmental science and natural resource issues. In particular,
candidates must address how they intend to contribute to the continuing
development of the science of sustainability as it pertains to natural
resource management with an emphasis on the integration of human and
natural elements.
