UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences alumni are trained as natural resources professionals, scientists and educators. They fill positions of leadership in the region and across the nation. They are united by their commitment to education and discovery.
Take a look at the new alumni newsletter, Roots, to learn more about teaching, research and outreach at the School and to catch up on alumni news. The School's Public Events Calendar is also great way to find out about what is going on in our community.
Reconnect with alumni through the Forest Resources Alumni Association (FRAA) and the University of Washington Alumni Association (UWAA). Opportunities to connect include LinkedIn, through which you will be able to establish a network of colleagues in the alumni community (join our UW Environmental and Forest Sciences Alumni Association on LinkedIn now); and a Facebook page developed by the FRAA.
Our annual event featuring alumni is the
Distinguished Alumni Seminar Series, welcoming home alumni who have gone on to become leaders in the private, public and nongovernmental sectors in the U.S. and the world.
We encourage you to take a look, as well, at historical lists of CFR/SEFS faculty and theses/dissertations from our graduate students from 1909 to 2014, both compiled by alumnus and Professor Emeritus Bob Edmonds.
And be sure to let us know what you’re doing; we want to hear from you!
