the 109th Congress dealing with Endangered Species Policy. A
complete list, text, and discussion of these can be found at http://thomas.loc.gov/ Search for the word phrase
"endangered species" to find them. An excellent source of information
about important bills and the views of congress can be found on the web pages
of relevant committees:
Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources
Of greatest significance is Rep.
Pombo’s (R-Cal) latest proposed reauthorization (and rewriting) of the ESA. To track this bill search for the status of HR 3824. As of
this writing it is just emerging from The House Committee on Resources
hearing. The Thomas site above allows
you to track the activity of a bill.
