Getting a CFRNetID

A quick word about CFRNetID's

A CFRNetID is for YOUR use, and YOUR USE ALONE! It uniquely identifies you on our network. If you lend your CFRNetID to a friend, or allow someone else to use a computer that is logged in using your CFRNetID, you may be held responsible for their actions. For more information please read the College of Forest Resources Computing Policy.

Getting your Username and Password

Before you get a CFRNetID, you must have a UWNetID. For information on getting a UWNetID refer to the UW's Web Site.

CFRNetID's are available to Students, Staff and Faculty of the University of Washington. To get your Username and Password you must show up in person in the Network Administrators office (Brad Coston) in Bloedel Hall, room 178A. You must present your Husky Card. If your picture is not on your Husky Card, you must present some form of State Issued Picture Identification (Such as a Drivers License or DOL issued ID Card).

Student services is no longer creating UWNetID's.
