LAPTOP AND LCD PROJECTOR USE POLICY

General UW Policy for Faculty and Students:

The UW no longer supports decentralized sites for the loan of laptops and projectors. They are now available for students (whose quarterly tech fees cover this type of equipment checkout) at Kane 35 and Health Sciences T-295 and for faculty and students through Classroom Support Services (3-9901; classroom@u.washington.edu). Extended use can be arranged with Classroom Support Services using a UW budget number.

CFR Computer Checkout for Faculty ONLY:

CFR laptops and projectors for check-out are available only for faculty hourly instructional use and are housed in Winkenwerder 104. Because of heavy demand, laptops and projectors cannot be checked out for extended periods. If the check-out schedule accommodates it, the equipment may be checked out overnight or over a weekend, but no longer, as hourly use for instruction has priority.
