SUPPORT THE COLLEGE

CFR SUSTAINABILITY COUNCIL

Mission:

The CFR Sustainability Council is a volunteer-based group of students, faculty, and staff approved by the Dean to work together to ensure sustainable use and waste practices throughout the College. The group originated with the Dean's request for proposals for cost-effective, measurable, and lasting ideas to increase recycling rates and reduce the overall waste stream within the College. In implementing the proposals received by the Dean and developing additional proposals to reduce the College's environmental impact, the CFR Sustainability Council will work creatively and collaboratively. All projects will be developed as advisory recommendations to the Dean's Council and, to ensure support and long-term success, will be implemented after approval by that administrative body.

Members:

Clara Burnett, Ara Erickson, Jim Fridley, Zachary Hughes, Joel Kramer, Lexine Long, Kristen McIvor, Cecilia Paul, Alicia Robbins, Jacob Strunk, Lauren Urgenson

The CFR Sustainability Council is currently recruiting membership; to be part of something great, contact Ara Erickson.
