January 25, 2008

Colleagues

The CFR Resources Committee (Bare, Bradley, Ryan, Edmonds, West, D. Vogt) met on January 18 to discuss several pending space allocation issues. The Committee made the following recommendations:

1. Professor Bakker be assigned full use of the Merrill Hall laboratory that he now shares with Professor Mabberley when the latter leaves the University on February 29, 2008.

2. That the Forest Club Room be made available during Winter term on selected Tuesdays between 2:45-4:30 pm for use of CFR 509. This extraordinary request was recommended due to the lack of a suitable room elsewhere on campus. If other higher priority uses arise, CFR 509 will need to find alternate arrangements.

3. Anderson Hall, Room 5 be allocated to MFR students who are not assigned space in a laboratory or do not have desk space. The CQS Office will be moved to Anderson Room 6 to be shared with office space for Dr. Hanley's support staff.

All recommendations approved.
