What research do our students do?
Read the profiles of our current and former students to learn about the variety of work they have done. The research section also lists some of the current projects on which our graduate students are working.
Who are the core PFC faculty?
Our core faculty are David Briggs, L. Monika Moskal, Sándor Tóth, Jim Fridley, and Peter Schiess. Graduate students also have the opportunity to work with a number of affiliated faculty from the School of Forest Resources.
Where are some of our alumni working?
Our alumni have gone on to jobs at all levels of the forest industry, with agencies, and in academia.
How is the PFC funded?
The PFC is supported by the State of Washington, the School of Forest Resources at UW, and by research grants from local and federal agencies.
