Finances
Moving bank account from WA Mutual to Bank of America
$274 in available cash
+$90 donation from state chapter for member sponsors
We could split this 6 ways = 6 half memberships for new members
Where to recruit??
CFR 101- with Grenlich/ Seattle Public Utilities lecture
Andrew will speak to the class. Turnbolm will write letter of "introduction" to Grenlich to ask for permission; Andrew will also find additional classes to speak to

$200-Allocated for field trips by Dean Bare

$274 (+90, for sponsoring new members) + $200 = $474 TOTAL BUDGET

Fundraising ideas for more funds
Sell hot cider, or rope, at the Forest Club Christmas Tree Sale 2003

Trip to Buffalo for the SAF National Meeting-Fall 2003
5 students at $500/person, sponsored by Dean Bare
Can be used by more than 5 students.
Limited to only grad students? à Michael Andrew will ask

State Board of Natural Resources
No Lake Whatcom issue on agenda so we did not attend
Looking into February 4th meeting
The agenda will be posted 2 weeks prior to the meeting

Mill Tour and Visit to Active Logging Sites: February 21st, 2003
Depart in back of Bloedel at 7:15 am
Simpson Mill Tour at 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Meet with WCLA Safety Director Jerry Bonagodsky, and see active logging sites from 11:00 to 4:00 pm
We will return after dark. Pack a bag lunch?

Phil will sit down with some members to re-design the website
