Meeting for Students
- Will take place on Thursday November 8
- Erika is making posters to get Alicia to print on Monday and then post
- Will discuss activities (ideas for and those already planned) including outreach, chapter meeting, day in the life/skills day, snowshoeing, habitat for humanity, rafting trip, officer positions available and website
Clubs meeting
- Social event to get all cfr clubs together
- Could possibly be held on Thursday November 29th in the late afternoon
- Matt to get a hold and discuss with other clubs

- Alicia needs to get Matt and Erika access
- Update should be a priority this year-hasn’t been updated in years
SAF Chapter Meeting with guest speaker Linda Goodman
- On Jan 10th
- Matt look into budgeting concerns with food and drink for an estimated 72+ people; talk to Hannah Dewey/Forest Club about trading money for help with Christmas tree sales
- Matt make reservation for forest club room
- Alicia send Erika the poster template
- Alicia email Linda about what we want her to discuss—the future of our profession/fire management/changing to meet harvest levels under the NW Forest Plan/things that have changed in the last 10 yrs
- Gift for the speaker—100 yr CFR wood plaque maybe? Talk to Ben Harrison
Day in the Life
- Could evolve into many different things; pack forest/tiger mountain/?
- Skills day with a professional forester (Alicia to contact)
- Field Trip/hike with Eric Turnblom?
- Learning skills like timber cruising, stand inventory
Alicia will leave for 1 month at the end of February. She also has a convention for another club sometime in April.
